Ushuaia, End of the World, Argentina
December 8-12, 2015
We considered not traveling to Ushuaia since we heard it was expensive and the town itself didn't offer many highlights. But since we were only one bus ride away from the southern most tip of South America, how could we turn it down? We boarded a bus which delivered us from Puerto Natales in Chile, across the border to Argentina and to the small port town of Ushuaia. Penguin tours and hiking in Tierra del Fuego National Park are some of the best things on offer but unfortunately we experienced cold and snowy weather which made it quite miserable to be outdoors. However, we did meet some wonderful people that warmed our hearts and made our memory of Ushuaia very special. If the weather was better we think Ushuaia might be quite enchanting.
