The Pinnacles National Monument, California
November 28, 2009
The Pinnacles National Monument is a cropping of rocky mountains formed by ancient volcano's and glacier's. You can do hikes throughout the park but the best trails are the ones leading to the "talus caves" known as Bear Gulch Caves and the Balconies Caves. This was truly an amazing and unique park which we both highly enjoyed!

The Bear Gulch Caves Trail has you winding your way through caves, squeezing through some pretty tight spots and passing through mostly in the dark!
