The Coast of Cornwall, England
April 23-24, 2013
After leaving Dartmoor National Park we headed to the farthest point of southwest England to an area called Cornwall. Its a fairly skinny peninsula that's rather easy to get around and offers a lot of wonderful coastal experiences. Unfortunately, during our short time here, we encountered quite a bit of fog which made it a bit difficult to enjoy the reason we came! Nonetheless, it was a nice visit. We stayed in the town of Newquay and drove around the peninsula.
Our Route
We visited "The Lizard" peninsula, village of Mousehole, went to a point called "Lands End" where we did a mile walk along the bluff, and finally a stop in the town of St. Ives.
