San Diego, El Salvador
January 7-8, 2012
On our way back from Guatemala on route to Costa Rica to meet up with family, we decided to make a quick stop on the coast of El Salvador in a small town called San Diego located near the famous surfing town of El Tunco. We really enjoyed the friendly owners of the Hostel we stayed at who took us in and treated us like one of the family. The coast was really lovely and we enjoyed some sunset cocktails with a Canadian fellow who owned a house right on the beach.
Our Accommodations - El Roble
We re-connected with a really nice Belgium couple who we met previously in Guatemala. The British owner of El Roble was very welcoming and you made feel a part of the family.
Fancy Wheels
We often see these colorful decked out buses all over Central America. They're very eye catching which is probably the purpose!
