Roper Lake State Park, Arizona
April 3-5, 2010
On route as we were passing a town called Safford, we discovered Roper Lake State Park and decided to pull in and see what it had to offer. With natural hot springs, fishing piers and a swimming beach, it was a good place to spend a few days.
Our Accommodations - Roper Lake State Park
The Roper Lake area was quite nice with two camping areas that both faced the water. We were lucky to score the best spot in the dry camping area which was a "double wide" spot with a sandy shoreline right at the water.
Frolicking in Wild Flowers
On our drive to Roper Lake, we were suddenly in awe of the yellow wild flowers in bloom among the hills just off the highway!
