Rock of Cashel County Tipperary, Ireland
July 17, 2013
The Rock of Cashel is a historic site that is perched on top of a prominent green hill with well preserved buildings dating from 1100's. It was once used as a fortress and church grounds and even the famous St. Patrick was appointed king here and accidentally pierced the kings foot with his sword (so the story goes)!
