Loch Tummel, Loch Rannoch and Blair Castle, Scotland
May-June, 2013
After our house sitting assignment ended in Chester, England, we decided to rent a car, buy some camping equipment and travel Scotland for two weeks! It was a brilliant adventure, and we loved our experience of Scotland...Its so diverse with mountains, green rolling hills, lakes, oceans, forrests and tundra. A very beautiful and amazing area to explore and it had us in awe at every turn. Definately a place we'd like to come back and do more exploring!
Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch
We crossed the border into Scotland and did a lovely drive along two lakes (lochs) called Loch Tummel and Rannoch.

Blair Castle
Blair Castle dates back to 1269 and has been transformed through the ages, from its cold medieval beginnings in a strategic position during political struggles to become a fine Georgian mansion and finally a Victorian castle in the barionial style. We stopped for the night at Blair Castle Caravan Park. The campground allowed access to walk the grounds of the castle which was a neat experience since it was after hours and near dusk.
