Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas
January 16-18, 2011
Our main purpose for arriving in the city of Texas was to visit the extraordinary Johnson Space Center. It's home to space flight training, research and flight control. The center consists of a complex of 100 buildings on over 1600 acres and is responsible for training both U.S and international astronauts.
Our Accommodations - Brazos Bend State Park Campground
We decided to stay at Brazos Bend State Park. Though it was a very nice campground, it was too far from the city of Houston making it a 45 minute trip to reach the things we wanted to see.
