Gimmelwald and Schilthorn Mountain, Swiss Alps
October, 2013
Gimmelwald is a charming little village in the Swiss Alps and is located in a breathtaking area called the Bernese Oberland. The village is situated at an elevation of 4500 and it can only be reached by cable car. We also continued past Gimmelwald to the very top of the Schilthorn Mountain at an elevation of 10,000 feet! The mountain was made famous by the filming of a Bond movie in 1969. The whole experience was absolutely amazing and we were dumbfounded by the beauty of the entire area. We enjoyed another beautiful sunny day and had a wonderful time!
